When people say about France, they always thought about fancy stuff and expensive vacation. Well, I might say yes for some reasons. I just moved here in the UK about two years ago. I’ve never been to any countries in Europe. This is my first Europe travel in my entire life. The thought of it was very exciting. I traveled with a group thus the feeling of anxiety of being alone in the other country was not really a problem. We spent a week there in the month of March, so I can say its not that warm or cold enough to let go of your coats.
How to find cheap accommodations?
There are loads of cheap accommodations in the South of France if you know where to find them. You can stay in good hotels for cheaper price if you book them in advance just like other travel bloggers are doing. We stayed in Nice, we opted for AIRBNB since we are traveling as a group. The advantage of staying in an apartment are the options to make your meals, do your laundry and feels like you are at home in a different country. Therefore, it is a great deal for people who are traveling on a budget.
We chose to stay in the center of Nice, ,near to city attractions, near to shops, and near to tram stations. However, if you are the type of person who wants to spend a vacation with extra comfort, you can always book your hotel with your preference stay.
Things to pack for South France
I went there in the first week of March, early spring. Temperature was between 10 degrees to 15 degree celcius. It’s quite warm, though I can’t let go of my coat. However, if you do some layering style if you are not comfortable wearing thick coat. There are some days that are sunny and rainy.
If you want to expore the place on foot, please bring with you your comfy clothes and sneakers.
